How many calories should a 13 year old girl concume with little exercise?

im 13 and i weigh a little over 140. im overweight and want to lose like 30 pounds. how much should i exercise and what should i change in my eating habbits? I don’t exercise very often but i do a little bit here and there.HELP ME PLEASE!

about 1600-1900
and don’t go to 110 i would only go to about 120

How many calories does a person who is completely sedentary burn a day?

How many calories would they need to eat?
Well, I’m don’t actually have a person to base this on..So just give me a rough estimate.

Approximately 1,000 - depending on the BMI

01-20-2008 - How many calories do I need?

How do you calculate your BMR so you know how many calories are healthy for you? Check out how I figure out how much I need to eat. I use the Harris-Benedict Formula.

BMI men= 66 + (13.7 x weight in kilos) + (5 x height in centimetres) - (6.8 x age in years)

BMI women= 655 + (9.6 x weight in kilos) + (1.8 x height in centimetres) - (4.7 x age in yrs)

You’ll need to know:
Your weight, height, and age (and of course your gender)
1 inch = 2.54 centimetres
1 kilo = 2.2 pounds

And please note that I accidently said my weight was 168. It’s not. It’s 268. Ooops.

How many calories should I be eating a day?

I am a 18 year old female. My weight is about 140. My height is 5′6/5′7. I go to the gym every day (burning around 400-600 average calories with cardio)(not including the weight machines I do).

I am trying to lose some weight…

How many calories should I be eating a day…If I’m trying to lose weigh that is….

As many as you would like when you reach your goal weight. from your current height/weight sounds like your BMI (body mass index) is already perfect. So maybe instead of having weight loss in mind think of it more as toning. 1200-2000 cals per day. and remember to eat often, small amounts (2-6 ounces) of food every 2-3 hours, never longer then that. this is where self control comes in. sounds like you’ve already got it though. a super model once swore that she drank a gallon of water everyday. to extreme? drink a full glass of water 10-15 mins before eating as a rule, and the same 20-30 mins after, this helps a ton to curb hunger and the amount you’ll want to eat. also remember that as many cals as you burn in the gym, you burn while you sleep (provided you get at least 7.5 -9.5 hours per night) incredible and true! take care of your self and remember everybody has differant needs. Talk to your doctor, do your reserch ect ect

It doesn’t matter. When I’m in a situation where I’m eating some girls drawers it means I’ll be getting plenty of exercise for the rest of the night.
